The Alameda Health System (AHS) Bridge Clinic is a drop-in clinic committed to low-barrier access to care and a philosophy of harm reduction. It delivers a variety of prevention and primary services in an outpatient clinic setting.

The Bridge Clinic offers same-day visits both in-person and by telephone to everyone in the community, regardless of racial, sexual or gender identity, ability to pay, or immigration status. Anyone in the community can call or text The Bridge Clinic warm line Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for appointments, resources, and support at 510-545-2765.

AHS Bridge Clinic Staff

Come to The Bridge Clinic for:

  • General health concerns
  • General and psychiatric medication refills
  • Treatment and testing for hepatitis C, HIV or syphilis
  • Medications to help with alcohol, opioid use, and other substance use disorders, including withdrawal management (such as Buprenorphine, AKA Suboxone)
  • Overdose prevention counseling
  • Referrals to primary care, women’s health, and mental health treatment, including to outpatient and residential substance use disorder treatment

Bridge Clinic staff are fluent in English, Spanish and Mien, and offer real time interpretation in other languages.
